Artist Statement
Arizona native Daniel Martin Diaz, dark, complex scenes recall classical religious art while remaining completely modern; he has produced both stained glass for the San Antonio de Paduas church in Mexico and cover art for the new P.O.D. album. His subtle, uncommon treatment of familiar religious iconography is at once subversive, devotional, and unique.
